Important information and a new bank account number
In 2018, the German E.ON and the RWE Group made an agreement on a far-reaching exchange of assets and participations. For Hungary, this means that through this transaction, the E.ON Group has become a sole owner of the ELMŰ-ÉMÁSZ Group.
The European Commission approved the transaction and required the E.ON Hungária Group to sell its electricity business in the competitive retail market, as well as any of its activities closely related to it.
Accordingly, as of May 1, 2020
E.ON Áramszolgáltató Kft. will be serving our customers in the universal power business and will be providing the monthly insurance services,
E.ON Energiamegoldások Kft. will be providing our services in the wholesale and retail natural gas and the wholesale electricity businesses, as well as products related to modernizing public and interior lighting, e-mobility, solar power generation, integrated energy solutions and green future/guarantee of origin,
E.ON Energiakereskedelmi Kft, which will be sold, will continue to provide services in the competitive retail power business.
The user contracts belonging to the given business will be transferred to E.ON Áramszolgáltató Kft. or E.ON Energiamegoldások Kft. through legal succession as of May 1, 2020. Their validity, their contract terms and conditions and their customer IDs will remain unchanged. Customers will be provided with support in the same way through the same contact details and to the same standard.
One important change is
that as of May 1, 2020, our bank account number
will be different.
The change of account number may affect the payment of bills for some of our customers. We will send information to all our customers affected by the change about the new bank account numbers and what they should do in a separate email.
